I dont have much time to post, but Exquisite went live today after a huge delay that pushed it out of 2011 and WELL into 2012. As a result, Upper Deck needed to have some incredible content to make sure that collectors would forget that this is a 2011 product being released after their first 2012 set has already been on shelves for months.
One of the main cards that has gotten me to consider buying into a college high end product is the return of Shadowbox autographs. The dimensions cards are thick as bricks, but function very similarly to the SPX cards I love so much. I might even go so far as saying they look better.
Here are some of the early postings – scans are awful due to the layered construction of the card, but in person they are incredible. Its almost like a shadowbox with a chrome etching in the background.
