More Previews from 2011 Topps Chrome Football Look Amazing

Earlier this week we saw some early previews of Topps Chrome football that is slated for release on October 26th. As one of my favorite sets every year, my excitement level was palpable when I found out the autographs would be hard signed for 75% of the cards. Although I am going to have to pay a lot for the players I like due to the severe SPs of top tier rookies. Personally, that wont matter, as I will pay what I have to in order to get the cards. They just look that good. Since getting into football cards again back in 2006, I have waited 5 years for hard signed Chrome Rookies.

After seeing the further previews from today, it has been well worth the wait and then some. I think the Bowman Chrome autos are HUGE wins, considering how they are not their own brand again this year. I have always thought the more chrome the merrier, but to have these hard signed cards folded into a set that is already one of my favorites, adds to the allure. Also, the atomic refractors are growing on me each time I see them, and I think my wallet may end up in rehab when this is all over.

Here are the pics:

  2. Hey Adam,

Did you see the previews for Leaf’s Pete Rose product? I have a point here. Besides looking fantastic, Brian G. says that they have made available a complete photo database of the jersey cards in the set. It will be available online! Your work is paying off slowly but surely.
