I have shown some of the previews that Topps has put up on their twitter for 2012 Football, which so far look great. Now we are starting to see that retail has hit pretty early, and all it does is make me that much more excited for Wednesday of next week when it hits stores.

First off, I love the base design this year above and beyond a lot of recent years. I didnt think the baseball design was all that great this year, but this one is absolutely stellar. Not only will it transfer incredibly well to the Chrome sets, but it is just enough to show the player in their glory, and still have a cool border swoop.
The addition of some of the new parallels are also pretty sweet, especially the military camo that has started to pop up. Topps has done breast cancer awareness cards before, but they were really tough to get ahold of for many collectors. This year, the pink cards are back as part of the base set for everyone. Of course the SP Photo variations are back, which are my favorite part of this product:

Lastly, the jumbo and regular swatch cards even look good, which is a feat in itself. I really like the large swatch and its vertical positioning on the side of the card. This way, there is more ability for the design to be showcased, and the player photo can still be extremely large.
2012 Topps Football is going to be tremendous, I can already say that. The design of each of the elements is top notch as it always is, and I cant wait to get my hands on some.
