I discussed the potential of the 1/1 superfractor auto of Cam Newton being the most valuable football card in the last 5-7 years. It was recently pulled at a Phoenix area shop, and it was only a matter of time before it hit eBay. It went up yesterday with a HUMONGOUS price tag, but that shouldnt deter anyone from making offers.

Im guessing at least 8K, but I think its a great idea to field offers instead of posting it and letting everyone with ill intentions bid on it.
As much credit u give topps I don’t find there cards as beautiful as u think they are. It drives me nuts when a company uses the same picture of the player in ALL there sets and especially when there not even wearin the right jersey number!. In my opinion regardless what you think upper decks SP authentic will out sell topps in any area especially in value.
Imagine how many gorgeous looking older football cards you could buy for the price of this one card?
Heck, for the price of this one card, you could buy complete Bowman/Topps sets from the 50’s…or Unitas, Bart Starr, Jim Brown, Namath, and Sayers RC’s with plenty of $$$ left over.
People need to get some perspective…however good Cam Newton turns out to be, the chances that he becomes one of the all-time greats is still fairly slim. And don’t forget how many more autographs he will be signing and how many more 1/1 cards will be produced of him.
